Traveling 34 weeks pregnant

And so my in-laws accept planned for the whole family to take a ten 60 minutes road trip adjacent week to Southern California, even so I will be 34 weeks significant past the time we leave and 35 weeks by the time nosotros return. My mother in law says that the timing should be fine for me and the baby, simply I just wanted to come across if that is maybe too close to my due engagement to be traveling that far? I hateful, would I even want to be sitting in a automobile for that long in the first place? I'g a first time mom, and so I withal am a little clueless virtually all this.

I take spoken to my dr. already and she said information technology should be fine as long every bit I walk every couple hours and stay hydrated, only I wanted to get advice from ladies who have been pregnant previously!

I travelled from Mexico to Canada at 37 weeks with my first pregnancy. I'd say as long as you tin can go out to stretch yous'll be fine 😊

The only affair I would caution you with is that if something happens and y'all need to go to the infirmary, the volition likely not discharge yous until after you have the baby and the baby is fix to go home. In cases where people start early labor, many tin simply get a shot and some meds to stop labor and get home. If you're over two-3 hours from habitation they won't discharge you. So yous need to be very comfortable with potentially getting stuck somewhere a while if anything happens.

exactly this! I'll be 36 weeks, and I'll be camping hours away from

Home. I'll be bringing all my stuff just in case and I will know where the hospital is from where we are camping. Equally long as you're prepared to not be giving nascency at your hospital I'd say you're expert to go. But it's all a personal choice of course :)

Just be ready to be stuck wherever you are if y'all have travelled farther away than about two hours if you happen to go into labor. My OB doesn't recommend any travel afterward about 32 weeks in case something happens. And the earlier the nativity the longer the stay.

I drove myself 10.5 hrs while I was 34 weeks. Definitely made sure to have walking breaks every few hours. The hardest part for me was the dorsum pain.

I moved from Red china to the US at 33 weeks pregnant with my first. Then I moved across country at 35 weeks pregnant. I had absolutely no bug. Merely of course everyone is different. Heed to your body and be prepared for whatsoever what if's.
